ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK: SEASON 2 PHOTO GALLERY

Yet it was the series with arguably the least amount of hype going in, Orange is the New Black, that Netflix would later tout was their most-watched original series.

The buzz for Jenji Kohan's series grew and grew, both among critics and the public, as more people discovered the fascinating story of Piper Chapman (Taylor Schilling) and her stint in women's prison.

All of which is to say that Orange is the New Black is going into Season 2, debuting Friday, with a lot more attention.
